Each Thursday evening, the The Alan Bracewell Big Band performs music in Chadderton/Royton near Manchester. The admission fee is £2.50 and The North Chadderton Social & Bowling Club is near Oldham just north of Manchester.
The Bowling club is a super venue, with all the modern and comfortable facilities required. There is a large dance floor and air conditioning when required. There is also a disabled ramp and facilities.
The Thursday evening session is very popular with fans of dancing and swing music alike. A friendly atmosphere and the Big Band sound attracts regular visitors, both local and from further afield.
There is a large car park at the club.
